Mobile Tire Store FAQ

We try and answer some of the more common questions that our customers have about how our mobile tire service works. Please contact us directly if you have any other questions about our services.

Apex brings the tire shop to your driveway with the most modern and safe tire-changing and balancing equipment.  Our custom trailer is a fully contained shop, with everything we need from car jacks to power tools to the new set of tires that you can order through our website.  All we need from you is an appropriate place to perform the work.

We need a relatively level space, such as a driveway, garage floor or quiet residential street.  There needs to be at least 3 feet of space around all sides (no parking right next to the curb) to allow for movement and equipment next to the vehicle.

Rain won’t stop us, but we do need to be careful during lightning storms and heavy snow storms.  We are always happy to work under cover, or reschedule if there is inclement weather

There are two ways you can book an appointment: click on the link above that takes you to our online scheduling program and select the location (upper or lower Kitittas County) where your car will be serviced and the time and date that works for you; or you can call us at (509) 260-APEX and we can work with you to schedule your appointment.

We always call to confirm appointments and make sure that any questions you may have about the service are answered.  If you have not heard from us within one business day of booking your appointment, or if you have questions for us, please call us at (509) 260-APEX, and we will be happy to help.

Once an appointment is confirmed, you can cancel at no charge up to 24 hours prior to your scheduled service time.  If you cancel an appointment within 24 hours of the scheduled start, we will charge a fee to cover the costs of re-routing our truck for the day.

Due to the cost incurred for the travel to the site, and time that was set aside for the appointment, a fee will be charged for ‘no show’ appointments.

We understand that plans can change sometimes, so new tires that have not been mounted yet can be returned for a 10% restocking fee to cover the return shipping and handling.  New tires that have been mounted can not be returned.

In most cases, we will not need your keys.  When we are servicing the tire pressure monitoring system (TMPS) or replacing TMPS sensors in the tires, we will need to access the interior of the car to reset the system.

Yes, we are very knowledgeable in the different tire options that are available, and we are happy to discuss them with you.  Please call us with any questions at (509) 260-APEX.  We can help you choose the right tires, order them, and install them for you!

We strive to provide the highest quality workmanship and a positive customer experience with every tire change.  We carefully document each tire mount and balance that we complete, in order to maintain our performance standards.  If you have any concerns about work that was performed, we are committed to working with you to resolve the issue.
